Fluorescent Penetrant Testing (FPT) is another type of penetrant testing, similar to Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT). - Better portability: FPT systems are usually smaller and more portable compared to DPT systems, making it easier to perform inspections on-site.
Overall, while both DPT and FPT have their advantages, FPT is generally considered to be more sensitive, easier to use, and more efficient compared to DPT.
